There's a first time for everything----1 Year Anniversary *Edited*

Well, today's that day. 6 months ago I was celebrating breaking that terrible six month curse. Now, I'm at the one year mark with Alexander. Sadly, he's not here. He's playing golf. Go figure, right? It's funny how girls build this huge, romantic gestures their boyfriends will do that will blow their minds and make all of their girl friends jealous. Yeah...funny how we know it's not going to happen and still get a teensy bit disappointed when it doesn't.

I have come to a brilliant deduction today. Boys are stupid. Girls are jealous. That's just a fact of life. It's not necessarily because we are insecure (though every girl is a little bit insecure, no matter how many times you tell her she's beautiful, perfect, your only one, etc). And jealousy doesn't mean we think you want to be with her instead of us or wish we had her body, etc. We're just jealous creatures by nature. Guys, you don't even have to look at a girl for us to be jealous of her. If we think in our crazy, mixed up minds that you might could possibly be attracted to her IF you saw her, we're jealous. We know you love us, but give us a break. We're jealous. And when we're angry-jealousy just comes all the more easily. In fact, when we're very *insert any emotion* all the other emotions are waiting on the sidelines ready to jump in and have their part. We're all a little insane, but just remember, guys, we're also totally adorable and you're with us for a reason. Love. Crazy thing, love.

So, of course, as I do for all the big anniversaries *6 month, 1 year...* well that's all I have so far....I put pictures up. You've probably already seen some of these, but who cares? These are my favorites.

This was taken after the Haunted House in October. It was our first Fall picture together

This was after Alex scared me half to death by saying he was hurt and not telling HOW. It was a scrape on the knee. I had cried myself into exhaustion afterwards.
I just love this picture of Alex. I think I stole this off of Justin Armstrong's facebook, actually.
This was taken right after we became "facebook official". His dad sent this to me and said that Alex was "practicing for the future". Cute, isn't it?
This was taken one night in August after Alex had to park cars for a football game.
The sweetest picture ever. This was on his birthday this year. My 24 year old ;)
This was taken at the Auburn vs MSU game, our first football game together. Go Dawgs!
And last, but not least, one of the first pictures we ever took together using my crappy webcam. But that was such a fun day. I do believe this was when he met my parents for the first time last July.

Ok, enough of the mushy stuff. I've been super sick for the past week and am ready to feel better. I need to start getting ready to go see Justin Alexander. My birthday is Saturday! I'll be the wonderful 2-1! Alex is coming to Starkville, and Amy, Kayla, and Patrick are supposed to hang out. I have a feeling I won't care who's around as long as I'm having a good time. I'm excited! I go back to work tomorrow from 8-12 everyday. I'm ready! I've missed the constant tasks and knowing exactly what I had to do everyday. No more homework! So far, I have all A's in three out of four classes. I don't think I'll know my math grade until the end of July. Dr. Scholtes is having surgery and will probably use her down time as grading time. I'm okay with that though, because I'm pretty sure I have an A in her class, too. That means TWO 4.0's in a row. Who would have ever guessed that it would take me almost killing myself with classes to do so spectacular.

Anyway, it's time to go make myself look pretty so I can hook Alex for another year. Happy 4th and have a great week!

*Update*
So I think that I was a little mean in my earlier post. I kept meaning to update it, but I'm just not getting around to it. I had a wonderful night with Alex. We went to El Rodeo and then watched No Strings Attached. It was a good movie, even though it was kind of ironic to watch that on our anniversary now that I think about it. Anyway, I love him more than ever. He's a wonderful boyfriend that I don't know what I'd do without.
Picture perfect :)
In case you haven't noticed, he likes sticking his tongue out.
He likes to make fun of my big eyes. Punk.

Love always,
Chelsea Leann.
